I had to take my lowers off because it is getting so hot now in Florida. My fans work great, but removing the lowers for the summer really lets the air in. Now in traffic the fans are great, I watch my oil temp and there is no question the fans are helping a lot.

They look good, work good and have a good price tag. Great product.

How is the noise level and heat from the fans blowing out the right side?

I don't have loud mufflers and I can't hear my fans until I shut the motor down. Sometimes I cap my hand over them to see if they are running.

Without the fans what was the temp before?

Love mine, they work great, I dont feel hot air blowing out the right, probably because they dont blow the air between the cylinders.

I've had my fans for well over a year now on my 2013 CVO Ultra. First off, I love them, beautifully crafted and they perform as described. My bike has not gone into heat management mode since I've had them on. I run a powervision on my handle bars and can see internal temperatures and there is a 25 to 30 degree difference with the fans running.

Can I feel the heat on my right leg. Yes. However, I don't take my lowers off and just open my vents in the summer. I'm up here in RI and we've had a chilly spring thus far and in the cooler weather I don't notice the heat on my right leg when the fans are on probably because the engine just isn't that hot. When the weather is warmer, say near 80 I will notice the warmer air on my right leg. Having said this, it's not a big deal, in fact, I'd bet some folks might not notice it (if their lowers were off, or if they were wearing heavier jeans). Again, to be clear, while I can feel the warm air on my right leg, its not terribly noticeable and I almost have to "think" about it to notice it at most times. It would hardly cause someone to not want to install the fans.

Noise: Yes, I can hear my fans at times. Again, my lowers are on so I don't know if that makes a difference. Having a an ultra, we sit in a quieter pocket. My observations: I was surprised at how loud the fans were when running and the bike is off. This is a good thing because these babies are powerful and move "A LOT" of air. When the bike is idling and not moving with no radio on, I can hear the fans easily. When at idle with the radio on at a comfortable volume level, I can still hear the fans (if I try to listen for them). When riding at back road speeds of 30 - 40 mph without a radio, I can hear them, but I have to try and listen for them. With the radio on at 30 -40 at a comfortable moderate level, I can not hear the fans. At highway speeds with our without the radio I can not hear the fans. While riding, there have been times when I've reached down to feel the air to make sure they were on.

Having said this, between the sound of the engine and wind noise the sound of the fans "at those times when I can hear them" is not a distraction at all.

Honestly these fans are one of the best additions I've ever added to the bike.
Great product, great buying experience, and Jason was a pleasure to work with. I had a minor problem with my thermal switch and Jason immediately sent me a new one as soon as I informed him.

Yes you can feel the heat blowing on your right side but I also have lowers on, no I can't hear mine until I turn off the bike. With my Dakota digital gauges I can monitor my head temps and there is a big difference with the fans on and off. Defiantly worth it and you can almost not even tell there there. Not to make it an oil thread but switching from amsoil to mobile 1 my bike runs quieter than ever, but it is running hotter now. Now I have to decide if I want a quiet top end or a cooler engine?

I agree with this assessment of heat and noise. A great product and great customer service.

On my RK (no lowers) I only hear the fans when idling. I don't hear them when I'm underway at any speed really. I do wear a FF helmet though, so could be why.

Heat blowing on the right side? Not really aware of it personally. But then again remember the motor is generating a lot more heat without any fans at all, so I still think it's not gonna be as bad as having NO fans even if you do feel something on the right in stop n go traffic for example. When you're at speed I can't imagine you'll feel anything.

My assumption is cooling performance will be negatively affected however until its specifically tested, its just an assumption.
I would be very interested in the results of a test between having, and not having the bridge covers on with the fans installed; even more so, on the difference with and without the fans when the bridges are installed.

Being the chrome ***** I am and all, I really like the look of having mine on and would much rather not take them off. If the fans make an appreciable difference with them still on, I would most likely purchase a set (in chrome of course )
