2013 SG with 1700 miles. lowered 2'' by blocks last year, no issues even with passanger. over winter i installed 10'' yaffe mbb bars with a +4 clutch cable and also stretched bags and CD rear led's. test ride, no issues that i noticed. most recently i installed rush big louie slip ons, ness big sucker intake, and a v&h fuel pak. i also put the spacer in my barnett clutch cable and readjusted (by the book) 3/4'' out and about 1/16'' free play. everything seemed fine when i test road around the block. a couple days later, went on a ride with the ol' lady on the back and i am getting a vibration or something from the back it feels like under semi hard acceleration. havnt had the chance to ride solo yet and accelerate hard....
make sure the exhaust isn't touching any part of the frame, the drivetrain moves on rubber mounts- the exhaust only touches the drivetrain, and the rubber bushings under the saddlebags
the higher bars will shake more at the ends- it's leverage...a 1/8" shake at the stock bar position can be a 1" shake with apes.
determine if your problem is rpm related or road speed.
you can figure that out by observing if the shake happens always at 45 mph or always at 2600 rpm for example.
Adjust the belt after lowering the bike. I lowered mine by 1 inch and the belt was to tight. I noticed a vibration like you are as well. Mine turned out to be the saddlebags rubbing at the top of the shock absorbers. Check to make sure yours aren't rubbing.
