Something else to have to check regularly
Well, maybe not regularly but while cleaning my '04 RK Classic last night, I found a loose screw and couldn't figure out what it was. After getting my flashlight, I found it was the screw to a clamp holding my heat shield on the pipes and it was darn near ready to fall off. This clamp (and screw) is located on the right side just below the yellow deflector on the front right fork. You might want to check your's too. I imagine that could cause a real problem if it fell off at highway speed.
