WTH is this

I put my apes on my roadking yesterday and after taking the bars off I found this on the clutch side of the bike and never found out where it went. The bike is back together and running great.

Good have come out of your clutch lever assembly ( anchor pin )

will your bike start in gear if you have the clutch pulled in? or do you have to be in neutral? i would find out now before you find yourself in the middle of an intersection trying to find neutral with cars coming at you from every direction...... you know that the more important it is to go into neutral, the harder the bike will make it
