Engine Temp?
ET on my '14 runs 197-205 on the highway, HT runs 50-70 higher. In town, maybe 225-230, ambient temps in the 90's
I saw 245 one evening in a traffic jam in downtown San Antonio, stopped mostly for 45 minutes, ET got up to 247, coolant fans came on at 245, ambient was 87.

I went for a ride tonight on my SGS. Running 75 on the highway, my ET was around 250-260 and my HT showed at 350-360. Running 50mph at a similar rpm, my engine temp was up around 270 and head temp was still 350-360. Ambient Temp on my display showed 82-84, but I don't think it was actually that warm. It seems to me my ambient temp is high (by maybe 5 deg) most of the time, but I haven't done a direct compare with another bike.
I am running Fuel Moto 2/1/2's, 4" mufflers, high flow air filter and the tune from Jamie. It runs great, but seems a bit warm to me, but this is my first Harley, so I don't have a good comparison. I have the Wards fans coming, so that should help some.

I don't worry about the temps. When I had a 88 in I would ride through the desert in Aug at 85-95 & sometimes faster, from tank to tank, through Utah & Nevada. I've been in stop & go traffic at 106 degrees for 1 1/2 hours with my stock 103.
