Default I need your help!

Hi guys. I picked up my 2009 SG today.

I was playing around with it at my place and then things started to get really weird. After a few seconds upon firing her up, the speakers go absolutely ape **** and the bike makes some ridiculously crazy noise.

Here is a video that I took of it. It happens at the :18 mark. Please excuse the crappy video.

This started happening when I had the key out of the ignition, but started the bike. It's got to be related, right? How do I stop it?

I pulled the Radio fuse and the it started up fine and didn't make the noise. Then I started it again and it made the noise again, so that was obviously not the answer.

I would pull the faring and check all connections and apply dielectric grease to every one. Check and see if there is an amp installed on the bike and if so disconnect it.

It's got a J&M amp. Looks like I will have to figure out how to disconnect it.

Thanks for the input. I hope that is the answer.

Unfortunately the Bike is in CT right now and I am in NJ. I won't be able to get to it until the 13th. I miss her already.

Go to the audio forum on this website and ask in there, guys in there are passionate about their audio and are very knowledgeable......
