I didnt read all of the posts but dont listen to the naysayers.....YES! You can plug an MC tire and run it without incident. I know because Ive done it. Lots of times and for lots of miles. Anyone who says different is just drinking the dealer coolaid. Period.
lets wait for someone to chime in who suffered a blow out while riding on a properly plugged tire....
mushroom plugs are the best
On a side note I had a dealer once tell me not to run different brand tires front and rear due to the differences in rubber composition. Hahahahaha. I cant tell you how many of the Harleys currently in my garage have mismatched tires.
Dont buy into the hype
You can only run mis matched tires if you use Nitrogen in them. Read that on the internet so it must be true.

just because it worked fine for you doesn't mean that it'll work fine for everyone else. i've never been struck by lightning either, but plenty of people have.
it's all about what you're comfortable with. if you feel safe enough riding on a plugged tire, then by all means, knock yourself out. if you don't feel safe enough, then replace the tire. me personally, i would plug the tire to get where i'm going, and then replace it. but then again, i have esp with tire and wheel for just that reason.
I just bought a street glide and got the ESP. The salesman told me that tires were covered 100% no out of pocket at all. Is that correct or was I lied to. He told me that he picked up a nail and it was replaced with 0 cost to him
So this morning I go to the HD dealer to get an inspection sticker and he checked my bike out and everything and the last thing he checked was the rear tire And i saw him double checking my tire ( I only have 760 miles) an he calls me over and says you have a nail in you tire, I said can you plugged it, he says no. So I asked what do you do? He said you have to replace the whole tire I was like WTF!!!! So my question is.... Has anyone ever plugged a tire or is that a no no?
You'll be fine as long as you use OEM air in both your tires.

As long as you also purchase the tire and wheel portion of ESP there is no charge for wheel and tire replacement. I've had 4 or 5 tires replaced because they went flat and 1 bent rim replaced using ESP and haven't paid a cent extra.
I purchased mine in 2010 so things may be different now.

As far as I know I did better check it but thanks for the reply
