When I was leaving work today I noticed the battery light and ck engine light were on at the end of the parking lot, the voltmeter was at 12v. I pulled over and shut it off then started it again lights still on, then I wound it up a few times and the lights went out and all was well on the way home. FYI voltage regulator has been replaced under recall. I'll let it cool overnight and see what's up tomorrow. Any thoughts?
Check your battery connections first for tightness. Then complete a charging system test for certainty and check voltage across the terminals. Could be battery taking a dump, VR taking a dump, stator taking a dump, etc. but do a complete charging system test to be sure.

agree with the regulator issues again. went threw that with my local dealer. it was a bit of a bit*H fest with them. but since the new regulator, no issues at all.
do the quick easy checks just to make sure... check connections,, battery terminals ect.... BUT according to the recall the program it is still covered till June 11 2014. get it back to the dealer to get it checked/replaced if need be under the recall.
if you need the service bulletin to print out let me know i can email it to you. or look up
common symptoms are
- not charging over 9-10v at idle and while driving
- voltage drops to make the check engine light and batt light come on
- random drop offs while cruising
Must be that time of year, mine had the regulator, battery and stator replaced last weekend. I also have a friend with a new 2014 triglide that had all three replaced last weekend with only 1500 miles on it and its still not fixed, nor is mine.
