Stator-what would you do?

Stator-what would you do?
Just got my Ultra out of the shop Friday (new drive belt-rock- because I didn't have time to do it myself). Saturday I'm 250 miles from home and I notice voltage dropping. Haven't tested the regulator 'cause I'm in Safeway parking lot, but from past experience probably stator. My question is, is it a weird coincidence or was there some careless work regarding the stator when the inner primary cover was pulled? I am going to ask the dealer for some relief (I don't buy the coincidence theory), or is that fuzzy thinking? Still have to get the bike home, but between AAA Premier and HOG towing I can go 300 miles so not an issue other than lost time.

Figure out what went wrong first. Could be something repair wise triggered--could be a coincidence. Not knowing what you ride and not going to bother trying to see if you listed it somewhere. I have several friends who have had stator problems on ultra's regularly.
