for the trouble that you are having, I'd go the stock wires and plugs as the ion sense function in the ECM could be getting bad data.
other than that, you have a tuner and someone came up with the settings- what mods do you have- can you confirm that the settings you have entered are correct?
if close to stock, try going to stock settings and see if the situation changes.

I bought the bike new Mike. Ran it one season. Next season SE204 cams and bored out to 103. Lasted quite a while then at end of season started running like it does now with clattering primary upon decel. Ran one full year like that. Next year, got new comp and tensioner, (both were pooched). Made it run tons better. Got different exhaust and needed another tune. Still ran horrid.
This year Dewy heads, 590 cams different exhaust and another tune. Data logging show everything perfect even at 210 ccp. No pinging, (did 4000 mile trip to AZ), no backfires, great mileage, no oil usage, plugs even in color, no codes. I'm at a loss. Thanks Mike.
