Help,been talked about but,

My three built in nuts holding my windshield on are turning freely in the plastic,
what was some of the ideas on how to fix it short of getting a new back plane for
the faring. was thinking of drilling all the way through and using all thread. Any other
ideas that arn't so drastic. thanks in advance,

i believe they are just retaining clips that can be re-apoxy or afix to the inside. you can take off the outer fairing and see it better to decide

Go to the dealer and ck the sizes of "wellnuts" that they have in stock. FXRT`s used these for w/shield attachment, thay require no access to the "back" side.
