I also used a screwdriver and only had to play with it for a few mins to align everything back up lol...I agree with the brake lines washers.. cant reuse those ****..im still tryin to get mine to stop leaking..its a verrrrrry slow one but a leak nonetheless..what brake line kit did u get. if u went the route I did with la choppers through eastern pc the shielded part of the cable is fine the chrome fittings under the neck were rusty within the first week and now are almost completely rusted

If you bought a hill complete kit with the longer brake line, it comes with washers, and if you got their master cylinder, it has a different size than the Harley master (10mm vs 12 mm on my bike, yours might be different).
The Harley washers have a steel with rubber on them, the ones from Hill are just steel. I'm using the washers from Hill on the master cylinder, and the Harley ones (my originals) on caliper and not leaks, all is good. You may want to consider getting new Harley ones, though.
