Default Poly bushings with 10" yaffe apes????

For those that have put on 10" yaffe Mbb apes did you change to poly bushings or not? I will be extending clutch cable to +4. Have abs brakes but most say brakeline will have enough length. Anything else I will need for the install?

It's always good to put poly bushings on when changing the bars. They outlast the rubber OE ones.

They are inexpensive, and they are easy to install. I replaced mine when I did my bars. I didn't notice anything different with them in there, but I did it while it was all apart.

Brake line is tight, but it works.

I didn't do the monkey bars. I did the yaffee classic 10" apes. Everything worked just fine except the brake line. Well I guess it works but it is really tight. It needs to be about a 1/2 inch longer. I changed to ploy bushings. Like everyone said cheap, easy to install, and will last longer than originals.

I am going with classic 10 in. Did you have to replace any cables, where do you get the bushings?

I have the Paul Yaffee Original bagger apes (not monkey bagger bars) I was able to use all stack cables, but I had to reroute the clutch cable to not run inside the fairing. Brake line is tight but works.

Bushings can be had at HD or aftermarket, your choice.
