Default Strange electrical issue with LED tail lights

Ok, so about a week ago my lights fuse was popped. Replaced it and it has not popped since. The concern I have is that the turns are being overridden by the brake circuit - the turns no longer function when I hit the brakes. I get brake lights but no turns when brakes are applied, let off the brakes and turns flash again. Both turns function fine when the brakes are not applied and my flashers work as expected.

I pulled the BT801 load equalizer out of the mix just in case - same thing happens.

Here is my wiring setup
Stock harness connector - Biketronics BT801 load equalizer - Stock harness connector > custom dynamics eclipz2 modules > 3 wire LEDS (united pacific dual-intensity Red LED light bar).

The ground, brake and turn 3 wires out of the harness feed into the CD eclipz2 modules that then come out as a 2 wire signal to the ground/hi intensity on the LEDs.

I pulled the entire rear wiring harness and checked for continuity on the ground, run, brake/turn circuits. Everything checked out. I visually inspected everything to see if there were any "burn" marks, fraying, etc and it all looks great. I even removed and replaced heat shrink to make sure nothing was hidden underneath it.

I'm at a loss right now - any ideas?

Did you try replacing the LEDs with the stock lamps and see if the problem remains. That would at least tell you if it was the LEDs causing the problem. Next I'd call Biketronics to see if they have any suggestions. Good luck. Keep us posted.

don't run the leds without an equalizer, that can damage the turn signal module.

what year bike is this?

I was just tracing through my wiring diagrams for an 09.

I "think" there may be a fault in the logic circuit in your leds- I';d ask the manufacturer if they've seen this before
