Flickering Oil Light

Had a flickering oil light on my 2012 Streetglide. Turned out to be a bundle of wires on top of the radio that had rubbed thru. The bundle runs horizontally over the radio. Can't remember if they were rubbing on the radio or my Hog Tunes amp mounted on top of the radio. It was also causing static in my radio. Wrapped the wires with electric tape & zip tied the wires so they wouldn't rub again. Problem solved.

Found my issue about 8 inches back from my oil pressure sending unit the two wires make their way into the main harness just before they go in to the main harness the plastic flexible tubing that was that protects it was rubbing on the bottom of the motor case. I rewrap them and put a new protector flexible tubing and took it for a test ride and it works great.
All of this was down below the motor behind the number one cylinder exhaust inside the frame rail.

Why does my 2011 sportster nightster oil light flicker when idlingand or neutral after it's been running for a few minutes. Also I don't know if I'm getting paranoid but seems like my bike has a hissing noise when it gets higher in the rpm.
