I would highly recommend the WO518s over the WO508s... Have 508's on my '01 RKC and the Son put on 518's on his '05 RK.. The 518's seem fit better on the wrists...
Pappy, don't the 508's have a longer pull back than the 518's which would allow you to sit up straighter? I am definately changing my barsand Iwant them toreach back to me more than the stock ones along with raising them a couple of inches. I haven't really heard from anyone who swears that the "XX brand/model" is the way to go. I have heard that Heritage bars on a Road King are great, then I see guys that have them getting rid of them and going with something else. Not certain how tall you are. I am 6', don't the 518's make you slump over like the stock bars?
I personally can't wait to get ride of my RK Custom bars.
They sit too low and don't have enough reach. I will be changing to the Chubby's when I can pony up the appropriate cash for the conversion which will likely be in the area of $800 with cables.
