Passenger Footboards How do you replace them?
I am changing out the Brackets. How do you get the footboard off the bracket... Is there a Youtube video on how to do that? I cain't find any info on it... You must have to get under the rubber floor boards.. I don't know... Edit Update... I figured it out... Harley had a lightbulb moment and added a set screw... It is recessed in the back of the floor board... See Pic

Lift the pad up. You will see the pin that holds the footboard to the bracket. Hit the pin out with a drift & hammer. Mine were frozen up pretty good, and it took a lot of PB Blaster to free it up. Be careful when removing the footboard from the bracket there is a small spring and ball that will go flying out.
Thanks... Figured it out... Harley finally had a lightbulb moment and added a set screw on the floor board pad to make it easy... It was recessed in the metal on the inside of the floor board... See Pic
