Primary gaskets: Quality all the same, or different?

Try this guy, I bought derby covers off him last year. He has primary gaskets for $18 and kits for around $30. Sorry I don't know why I was thinking about derby covers when you asked for a primary gasket but he does have good prices on both.

Exactly, I've had mine off half dozen times and just replaced it since I didn't want to push my luck (OEM gasket). It sealed up just fine like the last half dozen times. I had a warped primary cover on my 98 DWG and used a thicker cork gasket which worked just fine. Perhaps a cork gasket might remedy the problem.
