Take a look at the one I posted above. Read the thread on ADVrider. You will be pleasantly surprised.
The website on this bulbs shows and has comments about the dispersion of light being more round with less side illumination. How noticeable is this with the HD reflector in an ultra.
I use an H4 LED bulb from CYCLOPS. It's about 60 bucks and worth every penny. I'm hoping they come out with an H3 for the spots. There is a ton of info & reviews on the bulb HERE.
Very interesting, any issues with installation? Long, long, thread mostly dealing with adventure bikes with only a couple of Harley references. I really like the idea of less draw on the electrical system with just a little better light pattern than stock.

How does it install? The picture cuts off the end of the pigtail, but it doesn't look like there is an H4 plug.
Luckily the bulbs were cheap. The first one burned out in 3 weeks. Thank god for the dual bulb setup. I put the Sylvania back in until I decide what LED setup I want to go with.
I also tried the cheap LED globe replacement but I have found it gives a really good light. I have a Fatbob with twin headlights so replaced the bulb in one side to see the difference.
the LED is much brighter and very white where the old light looks dull and yellow next to it.
the left side of picture is the old halogen globe, the right side the new LED. I will be replacing the other side with LED also now.
