Anyone running the auto tune with the PCV? I recently installed it and it says after a ride you can view the time tables and accept the new values. Mine are just showing zeros?
I am thinking you need to turn on the autotune in the PCV program...
Also, make sure the lights on the AT unit come on...I am pretty sure this is something to check too.
will changing the ignition values help with starting?
On my snowmobile, 4 stroke Yamaha (1000cc R1 bike engine basically), I run a couple degrees timing at zero tps. It seems to help with starting and smooth out the idle.
I have considered this for my Harley, but I am running thinner head gaskets and I tried a couple degrees timing across the board and found it would ping as I 'tipped' in the throttle.

Yeah the auto tune is turned on and lights come on.
dynojets explanation for the slow start with Harleys
"Most Power Commanders are powered by the injectors on the bike. When you turn the key on, the fuel pump gets power and primes the fuel circuit. When this happens, the injectors get power, and the Power Commander also gets power and lights up. After a few moments, the fuel pump has pressurized the system, and usually shuts off. If the fuel pump shuts off, the injectors’ loose power, and the Power Commander shuts off. If you attempt to start the bike when the Power Commander is off, the bike will NOT start, until the fuel pump comes back on. The fuel pump may come on instantly, after a few engine revolutions, or on some bikes seemingly not at all. If the fuel pump does not come on, the bike will not start. We recommend starting the bike once you turn the key on. Do not wait for the fuel pump to shut off, or a check engine light to go out."

Wow...I thought I was needing a new map. I do this and it starts right up of I hit the starter before the engine light goes out. Thanks!

This goes for many of the PC3 and PC5 apps....depending on how each vehicle actually powers the PC, the PC itself may only stay on for a few secs.
My ZX14 needs the 9V battery hooked up to the PC3 or to actually have the engine running for the PC3 to stay on...otherwise, it just stays on for the fuel pump cycle.
My Yamaha snowmobile, the PC3 stays on as long as the key is just ON.
My Harley, the PCV doesn't seem to need anything except the USB power to work....BUT, maybe it just goes idle if the fuel pump is cycled as noted a couple posts ago? I am going to try starting it as soon as I turn on the ignition and see if it fires up quicker....
with my bike this is how it works best
1. turn on ignition s/w w kill s/w off
2. turn kill s/w on wait 2 secs and hit start
shutting down doesnt matter whether i use kill s/w or ignition s/w
my fuel pump will prime for about 3-4 secs and if i wait its a hard start so i do it like above
