radio display
About 400 miles in to a ride the display in my radio started to fade out for few seconds then come back. The screen just goes blank. I thought maybe it was the heat causing it so I shut the radio of. The screen still went blank in the off position.
The music never stopped playing when the screen would go blank. I had the radio fixed by iron cross about a year ago.
What could be causing the blank screen?

I don't know about the actual cause, but have the same problem on my 2013 FLTRU, the display occasionally blanks out but the CD continues to play. I asked at the dealer, their solution would be to remove the entire unit and replace it with a re-manufactured one. Since it continues to play and is warranted for 2 years I will probably wait until winter to have it done.

Most likely not related, but my '14 streetglide screen simply did not come on yesterday afternoon. Started fine, but no radio/screen at all. Tried on/off and letting it sit for a few seconds, but still stayed off. Turned it on today and worked fine.

I've run an additional 900 miles since I posted and no issue. I do not keep the radio up all the way though plus it isn't over a 100* out here in South Dakota like it was in Nevada and Utah
