thxs for your time and patience with a new bagger bro..Im a little confused Imagine that. im trying to run down some bars that are powder coated black, cross cut at the top and the bar handles run just across the top of the shield. I think I got the terminology figured out,,,,,,,, since aot of vendors use both term monkey/ape....... I found these on ebay they are stated as a (((13" SMOOTH RAZOR MONKEY BARS APE HANGER)))) but not sure about the bar width at 1.25" and never heard of the company for quality.
heres the fleebay link and a picture. thxs again ,pAuL
Never heard of them either, look good in pictures anyway. Inch and a quarter is the diameter of the bars.[They are necked down to 1 inch where the grips go on.]
They look good and look to be well made bars. With bars that are made like that, you have to remember they are cut and welded back together. If not debured correctly at those welds, it will cut the hell out of your wires when pulling them thru the bars. Just a thought.
One thing to keep in mind is your ability to use the fairing mounted mirrors. And a lot of that depends on your seat height and the height of yourself. I have 14 inch Vindiktas and I'm 6 foot three, and I can barely see the hand controls in the top of the mirror. Any shorter and the mirrors would not be usable for me.
1.25" refers to the diameter of the handlebars. They are thicker than stock bars which are usually 1" in diameter. 1.25" bars usually taper down at the riser clamp and for the grips and switch housing but I'd double check to ensure that what you get will bolt right on.

Most people in that situation just mount new mirrors on the hand controls and are done with it.

And still have to fill the mirror holes in the fairing and have it repainted or use the ugly plugs.I was looking at the Wild 1 WO 575 and it seems (from the pictures on their site) that they do not interfere with the mirrors.
