Spend The $$$ and buy S&S SPO's not cheap, but sound great, deep rumble , sound great and not loud. Bought a set for my 02, swapped them over to my 09, same great sound. May need to spluge and but a new set, these are getting louder. Think I may have burnt them in NM mountains last year.
Still sound good after 6+ years, just getting louder.
Go to a dealer on a nice Saturday morning, or to a bike night. Find a bike like yours, and ask 'em to fire it up for you. (They will.) When you hear something you like you'll say, "that's what I want, right there. What is that?"
