Question Speaker Switch install?

Question to the all knowing...
I have a 2007 FLHX and want to activate the headset connector.

If I install the speaker switch on the cap, will that activate the headset when switching speakers off??

Looking to use headset to drive bluetooth transmitter to my Sena intercom.

Thanks in advance..

Here is how my switch works. All the way down: everything through speakers. Middle: Intercom through the head set music through the speakers. All the way up: everything through the headset. I don't know if the head set is always active cause if I don't have it on I just run the music through the speakers and don't mess with anything else.

The switch it's self will work to change everything with just installing it if that's what you are asking.

If that doesn't help let me know exactly what you want to know.

Thanks, that's what I was looking to know. I currently do not have switch or headset, but I have a switch on the way to connect and was hoping that install of switch would allow use of headset (speaker only). I can then feed that into my Sena audio transmitter and bluetooth that into my helmet headset, also bluetooth. Mostly to make the OL happy when she rides with me so that she can hear the music and/or talk to me via headset.

Although I might want to not hear her.. lol..

Thanks for the response Craig..

Default communication port without the switch

I have the communication port installed in stead of the Senna10 transmitter. Now using the wired HD for my half open helmet. I have the SG 2015 so I don't need the switch. I can adjust the settings using my Boom.
The Sena transmitter uses the communication port via an adapter cable.

Thing is that I reckon that when using a switch, switching to the bleutooth route, the Sena transmitter will search for the headset. At that time you have to acknowledge the headset connection for the sena transmitter. Sena transmitter must be charged and in my case it wasn't reliable enough. While riding I found oud several times the prompts or bluetooth connection didn't came through. So only thing left was to stop and connect all. Not really handy for me...

Wired is the way to go for me.
In Your case, When not interested in the words of your Lady, just unplug..... LOL
