I have a 2007 Street Glide with standard windscreen I wonder if you guys also have a lot of turbulence around your head. It makes mecrazy! I have layd down on the seat but there was still a lot of wind noise around my head.I wonder if I get lost of it when I buy a higher windscreen. I also take a look for another helmet, maybe that will be better.
What kind of helmet are ya using now? Full face, 1/4, half? You will always get some wind unless you're in a cage with the windows rolled up. You will get wind from under your windscreen. You might consider lowers mounted to your engine guards.
I know what you mean about turbulance. The stock WS looks nice but doesn't do much for protection. I have tried a few WS over the years both with my SG and before with my RG. I think Clearview makes the best shield hands down. I now have the 6.5" black shield with the recurve at the top. Feels as though you have an 8" shield on the bike. Strongly urge you check them out.....
