Thanks for the Reply.
Problem is when I align the screw holes and insert the baffle, the baffle twists, misaligning the holes. Also, once the baffle is inserted in the pipe, it cannot be rotated to align the screw holes. I sprayed the inside of the pipe with WD40, but the baffle still won't rotate.
Someone told me to insert the baffle and then drill and tap new screw holes. Is this practical?
Only thing i can suggest is trying to anticipate the amount of twist by trail and error until you find the the starting point to slide in the baffle where the holes wind up being aligned. This probably requires a lot of swearing!
I tried the above with no luck. I'm at the point where I might drill and tap new screw holes or grind some of the O.D. Off the baffle so it rotates freely and allows me to align the screw holes.
I have a feeling Python (Vance & Hines) manufactures pipes in the U.S. And sources baffles from China. The fit just isn't not right between the two parts.

Either drill other holes, or get a set of Khromewerks drag pipe baffles. Clean the inside of the pipes w brake cleaner and coat the baffles w a nice coat of hi temp anti-seize.
