Default DK Discrete Breathers

I am sick and tired of the idea of feeding oil into my intake and would like to avoid this. I am interested in any experiences folks may have with the DK discrete breathers as I would also like to avoid using breather hoses if possible. Has anyone had any experiences with the discrete breathers and if so, do they work without dripping oil?

I think you may be combining products. The discreet breather uses hoses which go into a "T" fitting then routed "discreetly" under the bike somewhere where there's a filter at the end of the line.

The non-hose product are their Breather Bolts. I have had these for a few months now and don't like them because I'm smelling too much exhaust. My right leg sits close enough to the bolts so that it blocks some of the flow, resulting in the exhaust smell. One time when running real hard and real hot, I did get some oil misting out and onto the bike.

I'm probably going to get the discreet system.

If you put in the new breather valves in the rocker boxes it helps a lot. That and leave the oil level down a 1/4 to 1/2 a quart. Mine rarely drips.

I have the discrete kit, i ran it straight to the ground without the filter.I didn't want to create an additional maintenance task by adding another filter to clean. It will leave a few drops on the garage floor, not a big deal to me I'd rather have it there than down the intake or on my heat shields.

You're quite right, I am mistakenly mixing products. It's the breather bolts I had in mind. Thanks for the correction.

The DK web site has several sets installed. Problem is you can't use them with the stock filter cover.
