Need to replace battery / need help on removing caddy
Bought a new battery and had recently replaced the battery on a 2001 Electra Glide Classic, which took maybe 3 minutes to access and remove. 2010 model? Well, ease of access has changed.
I've removed everything that needs to be removed and am having a problem with the caddy not wanting to come out for the final step to access the battery. I can't see why it moves around but won't pull out from the gas tank side (top of photo).
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you.
EDIT: Okay, I got it off. Turns out there was a dealer-installed electrical cable for the battery tender that the caddie was hitting as I pushed it forward towards the tank. It was just enough that the caddie couldn't move forward enough to then clear the metal tab.
