When you find the magic recipe for comps let us know, I'm on my 4th one in 50,000 miles and have tried many fluids. Right now I'm on my second 2014 style and running harley non-syn and I used an extra spring from one of the ruined comps to try and get this one to last more than 6 months.
Heres my last one. Sadly it looks like your's is already starting to wear in the same spot?
Gee thanks, first week on the internet. I was looking for somewhere to buy the damn thing.
After some digging looks like they aren't available yet, sometime this month, allegedly. Sounds they run about five bills too.
Personally I think the wear is accelerated by low rpm riding and pulling taller gears.
I beat my '10 for 30k plus miles, and the comp was in great shape when I sold it. My other two buddies have had similar experiences. We all ride pretty hard in the higher rpm ranges. I never cruise below 2500.
Our other buddy has had a couple comps in his '13 in 12k miles. He rides it like it's a diesel, short shifting and using low rpms. He likes to feel the torque, as opposed to higher rpm power.
YMMV, this is my opinion only judging by how my friends and I ride.

No brother there available but you do have to call to order, If I lose this comp the compensator will be on order for me as well.
When I open my primary to check my comp its always pretty wet, that's why I haven't ordered one yet. But since there are not many other options I'm at the point where I'll try anything if I lose another one.

They are only about $ 120.00 and is basically a tray that catches oil and directs if to the shaft and spokes. Their website is old and quirky. They know and are in the process of remaking it.
Also they have a PEEK thrust washer in testing to replace the needle bearings in the 14a model comps.Look em up on Facebook. Here's a pic of the compensaver with the Hayden Tensioner I installed recently. Will be opening it up again in another month or so to have a look at wear.
p.s.
If this one craps out I'll put in one of the BDL comp sprockets, There's a few members on hdf using them. So far so good.

Reason: p.s.
it's a shame i can't use the compsaver and my baker attitude adjuster. i wonder if i could cut a slot in that tray and still use the manual adjuster. i guess i could always use the factory adjuster and just weld it.
I looked through their facebook and didnt find anything for less than 300. But that an older model, it came with their version of an oil pump and a a different shaped tray. I guess this new more simple design is alot cheaper. Hell if they are only 120 I might give it a go.
