Default No Toil Kickstand Upgrade

I am not having any issues with my kickstand but I saw the ad for this kickstand on this forum page and was curious if anyone has installed this upgrade and your opinions regarding whether it is an improvement to the stock stand. Do you believe it provided a safer and more stable support? Thanks http://notoil.shptron.com/c/accessories_the-kicker

If paying attention this should never occur - I've always pushed or kicked the JS to be sure it was fully forward, on my Dyna where it was closer to me I always kept my foot in place until the bike settled. That said, I may put one of those on as I do like that it snaps forward into place - simply easier because on a bagger the JS is farther away.

Never had an issue with the OEM stand... that's over 35 yrs, two fxs bikes, two softail bikes, and one bagger..

Looks like an $80 solution in search of a problem...

Like the idea of a spring.....I have needed one though. I ensure JS is 'set' before I dismount. Glad that guy in the video parked near a rubber mat.

It would be nice to not have push the kickstand all the way out...

I actually like the concept, but don't think I'd pay that much to have it. If it were cheaper... I might buy one.

It kind of reminds me of my assisted opening knives. I don't really need it... but it's nice to have.

I have never even come close to having any issues with the factory stand.

Quite a few vendors come up with some type of product, then produce a video trying to convince you that you need their product.

One thing is for sure, it won't hurt anything having this, but it is trying to fix a problem that doesn't really exist.
Anybody that "needs" one of these devices probably needs lots of help in other areas of riding too.

I have messed up with kickstand once but will never happen again .I make sure the tab or pin (depending on bike )is in the right place before I let bike down .Factory stands are great .

I may be the only one, but I'm kinda in the opposite corner. I have taken off more than once without raising the JS. I like the idea that the stock spring location pulls the stand into the up position on those occasions....
