Default V&H Adding cruise to SG, cable question

Well this is how it started. My question is at the end, this is just how I got there.

...stock bike withStg I. Cha-ching

Now a GMR Stg II 98" kit. 4k, Cha-ching. Needs more room to breath so a set of V&H true duals on the way. 700, Cha-ching

Wantto put a set of bars on my SG. Wild 1's.. 200 Cha-ching.

Course it makes sense to do the hand controls while it's all apart. 200 bux. another Cha-ching

Well, since the exhaust will already be off, I may as well do the damn cables while I'm there since it has to come off to do cables down the road, what's another 300 more? Cha-ching

Well, now that it's all apart, and I'm doing the chome hand controls, I MAY as well put the cruise control in too since it's a different chome assembly on the bars...another 300!!

Look on my face when riding....priceless

So, now to get to my real question. I needed to type out that whole story anyways so when the wife asks me I have it all down in chronological order!!

If I do the cruise now, is there an additional chrome cable I will need to look into, or does that work off the stock throttle/idle cable?

Sorry for the long story to get to my question, but you can see how people like me end up looney...or broke!

Cruise will work off of the HD Stock or Braided cables.....

If you go with some aftermarket cables, the cruise will be in-op, as there is a switch in the cable housing missing...... Not all, but some....

Do the cables, cruise and switch housings together, seeing as you won't want to tear the housings apart 3 times....

Exactly why I figured to do it all at once. So, I just need to specify cruise when ordering the cables and should be good then? I've narrowed to down to 2 choices. The Magnum SS Chromites or the Barnetts.

The Barnetts you need to specify cruise or not. Their website explains it, but I know from experience.

Ride safe,

Just ordered my Magnums today. They too use the same cable for with or without cruise.
