I tried that 3 times this morning...the site must be down...but will try again tomorrow...or just call the local Harley and see if they can get a response. But thanks for the tip..excellent .

Yet another example of how a multimeter can lead one astray...obviously the old battery had only a surface charge...but the load tester set you straight. I'm almost tempted to buy one but the seat of my pants is cheaper! Glad ya got it worked out.

Would suggest you either put a label with the date and mileage on top of the battery where you can easily see it or etch it on with one of those electric etchers...

It was the damn battery tender...stuck on charge..no float. Damnit!!
