Does your radio work? I don't think it would without some sort of antenna.

wouldn't it take only 2 or 3 minutes to open the fairing and look?

4 torx screws for the inner fairing, 3 for the windshield, and two headlight bulb clips...easy peasy. The antenna plug has a plastic cap on the input end (green or white, I can't remember). If there isn't an antenna wrapped around the inside of the fairing they definitely owe you one.

Thanks for the help guys. The fairing is coming off for new handlebars next weekend. I'll take a peek in there before calling.
