one thing to consider when changing out your levers- is the new lever compatible with the neutral safety switch under the clutch perch? if not, then you will have to put your bike in neutral before it'll start, regardless of whether or not you have the clutch pulled in. not a total negative, until that one time that your bike stalls in the middle of an intersection, and you're trying to get into neutral (you know, that dance where your bike goes from first to second to first, skipping neutral every time?) so you can start it back up.
