I actually saw a set of Pro-Action Suspension rear shocks on Ultra today. It is true, the makers of the best performance MX suspension is entering the HD touring market. Finally shocks that work on a HD touring bike. Stay tuned...
I'm sure they will be better than stock and better than progressive. Lets not get carried away with the superlatives just yet. They build nice stuff but so do alot of other guys, some you may not have ever heard of.
He has a set going to Bagger Magazine for some real life testing. I'm sure there will be a tech article in the next couple of issues. But when I bolt mine on, I will report my findings.
Just wanted to provide an update to everyone that is interested in these new shocks. I have a set of 11" shocks on my wife's RG. We plan to do a lot of one up and two up testing over the next month with a trip to the south. I will be happy to report my findings but so far I can tell you this is a top quality setup with ease of adjustibility. Three (3) way valving, nitrogen charged and bleeder valve rebound/compression adjustment. The shock basically uses a threaded shock body and the spring pre-load that can be adjusted by hand. All you need is a small allen wrench that locks the top collar of the spring in place. It has a bleeder valve adjustment on the bottom of the shock with 18 positions for rebound/compression dampening. If anyone would like more info, please let me know and feel free to PM me. I've attached a few pictures for reference.
No there isn't. I Googled the company and found a few u tube videos the shock company made. The videos were lacking info too.
I'm not knocking Pro Action but lets see, Ohlins in business since '76, I've been using them since '79, I will not be paying to be a beta tester for a newcomer into the Harley Davidson shock world.
