elding Ez-Pass Transponder While Trailer

Default Shielding Ez-Pass Transponder While Trailering
I tried Goggle'ing it but can't find an answer.

I need to trailer my SG in an enclosed trailer from NJ to SC.

The Ez-Pass Transponder is mounted inside my fairing. Really don't want to remove it.

Any suggestions on how to block it from registering at the toll plazas's??

Expensive enough paying for four axles on I95, don't need it registering also.

Do you think it would register through the enclosed trailer ? I wonder . Aluminum trailer ? I heard something about wrapping in aluminum foil works to stop it, but you cannot get to unit .

Not sure, yes an aluminum trailer.....aluminum foil does work if I had easy access to it....

Would throwing a blanket over the fairing and foil on that work?


Try a tinfoil hat!

There is a flexible bag that is used to protect computer cards. Did you get the transponder in the mail, if so it came in that protective bag.

Can't you just go on the internet and take it off your account then put it back on your account when you get to your destination
