have had an opportunity to ride a bike with progressive but did ride a bike with ohlin HD 357 shocks and the Ohlin cartridge kit that ohlin sells and it was pretty dang smooth. Made me start thinking about getting a set of the cartridge kit for my 2009. But they do cost 1k
