I'm not in the market for these right now, (I already have a pair of the SMH10's!), but I do have a question, and since you have both the 5's and the 10's, perhaps you might know the answer.
Can you pair an SMH5 with an SMH10? The reason I'm curious is that my regular riding friend and I have the 10's for our communication, and I was wondering if I could buy a less expensive 5 for my wife, who only rarely rides with me. Range isn't a need, since she'd only be two feet away!
I truly don't know if they can pair together. They will pair with any other bluetooth device but I will get you an answer.
Thanks, I'm doing some digging as well.
I know that most bluetooth devices can pair as long as both are at a comparable bluetooth version level, but SMH pairing also depends on what software version they're on.
I sent a question directly to Sena, but no answer yet.
