Buyer beware: Look closely at his pic in the first post and you will see there is only two wires going from the socket adapter to the LED light board. As we all know, there are three wires for an 1157: - ground, + running, & + brake/turn.
I asked about this discrepancy and Jaftica assured me that it was in fact an 1157. I then asked him to send me a pic of the bottom of the socket and he replied that I should buy them from someone else.
Look at my pic of a Custom Dynamics red 1157 and you will see three wires. I seriously doubt there is any difference in wiring between a red LED 1157 and an amber LED 1157. The only difference would be the color of the LED on the board.
To make matters worse, he has a red 1156 for sale on eBay with the same exact pic
While I did have the listing wrong on ebay These lights are exactly what I have described them here. The location of the tit on the base of the bulb is a dead giveaway that these are indeed 1157 bulbs. 1156 bulbs are closer to the bottom and straight across from each other. 1157 bulbs have staggered ****. My sellers feedback speaks volume on ebay.

Let me clarify the intent of my previous post regarding these bulbs. My intent was not to discredit Jaftica's integrity or question his intent. I am certain that he means well and is not trying to intentionally be dishonest in any way. Jaftica is correct that he does have 711 feedback rating of which 99.7% is positive. He did not get this rating by selling the wrong parts. His rating speaks volumes about his integrity.
However, I disagree that these are 1157 bulbs and I believe these are 1156's. I really think that Custom Dynamics inadvertently put an 1156 bulb in a 1157 package. 1157's bulbs have three wires and two points on the bottom of the base whereas 1156's have two wires and a single contact in the center of the base. The **** on an 1157 are staggered and are straight across on an 1156.
I just want to help everyone on the forum, including Jaftica. I want to help ensure that the potential buyer gets exactly what they intend to buy. I want to avoid having to send them back and a PayPal dispute and all that mess that happens when a transaction goes bad. The conflict between the description and the pic lead me to believe this will not be a successful transaction.
Posting an additional pic of the bottom of the base will tell if these bulbs are an 1157 or an 1156.
The difference in the Amber 1157 and the Red 1157 is that the Amber is just a run and turn.
What? Then what is the difference between an amber 1156 and an amber 1157? An amber 1157 would still have three wires and two contacts on the bottom of the base. Whether a bulb is a run only or a run and turn or brake is a function of one circuit for the run and another circuit for the turn or brake. In the case of a run and turn and brake is a function of a 5 wire to 4 wire convertor that installed separate and combines the turn signal and brake light circuits. This adapter allows the blinking function of the turn signal to override the constant brake light function. The only difference between a red 1157 and an amber 1157 is the color of the LED. The wiring and base of a red or amber 1157 is the same.
