Default Road King Fairing++++SOLD++++

I have for sale what I believe is a Memphis Shades (not sure of the manufacturer) Road King fairing. It has speakers and a radio already installed (not sure if it works), but I simply toss that in the deal. The windshield is mounted to the fairing and the conversion simply takes the place of your removable windshield....no modifications necessary to your nacelle. If you want the radio and accessory outlet to work....just connect the wires to some convenient ground and power source.

This is not a piece of home-spun trash. It is a very professional looking and well made fairing.These things sell at prices starting around $450 and go up from there.

If interested....PM or e-mail me and I'll provide pictures. It is maroon in color (95th. anniversary color) and will have to be painted. Asking $250 plus shipping. This fairing pretty-much turns a Road King into a Standard and installs or removes in 15-minutes-or-so.

Hang on guys!

PM's are rolling in and I will make a deal with the senders in the order in which they were/are received. Earliest PM gets first crack....etc.

I will post some pictures here in a couple of hours and we'll go from there. PM'rs and e-mailers get first right of refusal in the order (time) they were received.

Don't let this stop you from sending a PM.....the #1 poster may not follow-thru.

Pictures posted below. The thing looked much better on the bike when I bought it, but I took it off and stuck it in the storeroom. I have disassembled it and have these pictures for your review, but I think the fair thing to do is sell it on the basis of "best reasonable offer". I'll have to decide if it's worth my trouble to ship it based on the best offer. I have no idea what the shipping cost will be until we have a buyer.

The fiberglass is in very good shape, no cracks. The paint is horrible. It will have to be refinished. Bubba and his pals assembled the radio wiring...thus you see tape and maybe a wire-nut or two. It is all here, nothing broken or missing and the windshield is in very good shape. It's the normal Harley 3-hole dresser pattern. The fitment is not that great. With some TLC and proper hardware, the average person can make it look very nice for a LOT less than you can find a new one commercially. It bolts right were the removable windshield goes over the rubber bushings. You need to remove those bushings and simply replace them with washers and tighten the studs. You can put a quick-connect plug on the harness wiring and have the option of on-or-off in just a few minutes.

Here it is and I received 6 PM's. All of you (or anybody else) can submit an offer. I will not misrepresent anything I sell to forum members....or anybody else for that matter.

Yes I do and don't have any offers. The thing really looks good on the bike and I wish I had kept a picture. You will have to "tinker" with the hardware to get the inner to align with the outer, but once together...it DOES fit right over the nacelle. You will want to replace your removable windshield bushings with large washers, but that's a 5-minute operation and you will have the bushings to keep if you want to install the removable again. I can't guarantee the radio, because I never tried to even turn it on. All you need to heat that up is a hot and ground wire from inside the nacelle. There is a short antenna that comes with it and it stuffs under the fairing.

How about $150 shipped....and I'll have to find a box and will need a little time. I will take your personal check as well. It's not of the highest quality, but it's solid....no cracks, but some scuffs.
