Usb plug

Tried plugging in my thumb drive to the usb plug and nothing happened no music or anything can't find where it says usb on the infotainment center.its a 2015 btw.i called several dealers and they say it's in the media section.but when I go there it just has my phone stored in there.any suggestions thanks

does your usb work on your computer? does another usb work on your bike? wav. mp3's & mp4's ?

I have noticed several times when it did not read my thumb drive... a few when it took several minutes and once not at all until I turned the ignition off then back on again. As others said, check first to see that the drive is recognized by something else (computer); sometimes flash drives can do strange stuff too.

Make sure the USB drive file system is formatted FAT32. If not you will need to reformat it and copy your files again.

Don't know if the 15 is different from my 14 but you have to go to the menu section and then media to turn on usb. If usb is not listed then you have an issue with thumb drive or plug. Ebert

Tried a thumb drive in mine for the first time yesterday. Worked great. Trouble is I only have 10 songs on that drive so it didn't take long before I started hearing repeats. I'll be adding more songs very soon.
