Hello, I am thinking of trading my 2013 Goldwing with lemans kit, 23k miles for a 2016 HD trike with 11k miles
I am not mechanically inclined and my nearest Honda dealer is over an hour from my location. HD is local.
Would the ride be about the same?
I am an older guy.
Little nervous about trading in, but tired of the travel and other factors with Honda Dealer.
The only thing missing is bluetooth which I currently do not have, but world of been nice.
Welcome to the site, Frank. Honestly, unless you just really want a Harley, I probably wouldn't make that trade. If your Wing trike has independent rear suspension, its ride quality is going to be far better, than a 2016 TriGlide. Your Wing will be much faster and smoother, as well. Did you mean a Lehman conversion? One downside I can think of, is Lehman is out of business. What mechanical issues, if any, have you had with your Wing?

I have a 16 Triglide and love it.I am 71 years old. I had to do some mods to get my Tri to be a comfortable ride but it does ride great now however I don't think you are going to get the ride out of a Harley that you get out of your wing if yours has independent suspension without putting some coin into upgrading the suspension for example, a DK custom lift kit for the rear, coil over shocks possible front cartridge kits in the tubes and for me ( I am only 5'6" with short arms) taller bars. Now that I have it set up the way I want I love riding the Harley.
Welcome to the forum

Thanks for sharing, my wing is straight axel so may be similar to Harley. 56 also and 67 years old.
Have health issues also.
I hope it will not be a step down in trading. I cant afford a new one. The electronics look to be better on the HD.
I went to see the 2016 Trike at dealer about 50 miles from my home, and wife and I were disappointed as it was missing the rear lights. Dealer said it was taken off for another sale and would order a new kit.
It did not have stock pipes and was quite loud.
I did take it for a ride and like the fact it sat lower than my wing.
It also was more conformable in ride and seat.
I ended up at local dealer yesterday and they had a 2019 with 600 miles that was returned by elderly gentleman. We talked and made a deal.
I should have it this Tuesday.
