I have a 2023 Triglide that I want to put taller bars on. Can anybody give me some experienced insights on
needs versus height? Thinking about 12" Thanks
I put on LA Choppers 12" tall Grande Twin peaks.
Made in the USA and they're a nice 1.5" diameter bars. (They're not "meat hook" type, but rather a 90* miter cut look)
Still retains stock cables.
I installed KST 12 six bend bars on my 2024 TG. Brake line and throttle wiring did not need extending. Although KST said stock clutch cable would work I elected to use Fat Baggers 4 clutch cable extension. Straightforward installation and love the bars.
I put HD Tallboy bars on my 2016, my buddy did the mini apes. He's 6'4" and I am 6'6". We loved the grip angle of the Tallboys, but neither was the right height for us. When getting new Trikes a few years ago we both went with 14" Chubby's and love them. If I could have tried some 16's I might have gone with them, but the 14's are a huge improvement.
I now have thousands of miles with my 14" bars and love them. It all depends on your size.
As far as cables, Fat Baggers is where I found what I needed.
