We are getting a 2010 TG with the SE A/C, SE mufflers, & SE super tuner, along with the smart tuner software which is required on the 2010 when the SE super tuner is used, & the dealer will do the tuning. With the heat issues anticipated with the 2010s, we are considering getting the HD engine parade fan. We realize that there is an additional problem with relocating the horn to the recommended location due to the TG's steering dampener. Has anyone had any experience with these fans, and if so, how reliable was it & how effective was it in reducing overall engine temperature? Any comments/advice from anyone will be appreciated. Thanks.
The pipes were probably not available when you posted but the new Fuel Motto Stainless steel pipes will do more to prevent the heat problem than the Fan. You still have the main culpret "the Catalytic Converter" in that headpipe if you have not already changed it.
I did look up the spec on the Lanale Fan before I bought it, it only stated 200 CFM which is not all that much! Have you looked up the CFM of air moved by the Harley Parade Fan?
Some on here have also went with the Jagg 10 row oil cooler if you have not already seen the post and some added the Arizona Oil Cooler Fans to that. They are also kind of puny but they do pull air through the cooler!
A little here, an little there, we"re hoping it adds up! Check out the Fuel Motto pipes, they will give your more cooling and eliminate the main source of your heat!

I just went to their website and am quite impressed with the unit. It looks like it's exactly what I'm looking for. However, I just took a look at the oil cooler on my '09 Tri Glide and not too sure about sufficient clearance to mount the fans on the back side of the cooler. Do you have yours mounted on a Tri Glide?
I believe mine would have cleared but I made a bracket that allowed me to move the oil cooler out and up a little. The original cooler was to low IMO and caught a lot of mud off the front fender.
By moving the Jagg out and then up I got enough room behind it for the fans and got is up higher above the bottom of the front fender to keep it out of the line of fire.
I also used a wire loom cover to make the installation neat, unbolted the back of the fuel tank to raise it up a little in order to run the wires back to the accessory plug and hide them! The oil cooler fan I got had the extra female plug attached to plug the Lanale fan into.
Hit the acc switch to turn on the oil cooler fan, the reach down and turn the Parade fan on.

2009 Triglide, when you receive the Big Sky oil cooler fans you will cease being impressed, they aren’t much to look at but they do work! Yes, I have the fan mounted on my 2009 Tri-Glide; I changed the stock 6-row cooler to a Jagg 10 row at the same time. The Big Sky comes with two fans; however, I was only able to get one in there.
P.S. I through the "Mickey-Mouse" switch that comes with the kit away and wired it to the ACC switch!

That is why I had to move the oil cooler out, I joined the fans together to make them more stable and even with both they just cover the upper half of the Jagg 10 row. I was not impressed with them either! However when I held my hand in front to the oil cooler with the fans on they are moving air through the cooler!
It would actually take two kits to cover the Jagg with these fans!
I will use until something else comes along that covers the whole cooler and am looking for a little higher CFM flow!
I have some welding skills and have been thinking about finding an 09/10 oil pan to modify, I believe I could add about an inch to that pan a pick up a couple of Quarts of oil. I have an 8 qt. steel pan on my ol 55, if Baker don't come up with one for the 09 I may make my own.

Jimer, Did you go to a different cooler for better cooling, or did you have to just to make the kit fit? In other words, do you think the kit will fit on my stock cooler, without a lot of fabricating?

If you install just one fan in the center of the cooler like I did, it will fit without any fabrication. However, if you want to install both fans, you will have to fabricate a new bracket!
As far as a "better" cooler; I don't know if one exists. I know that someone (can't think of their name) makes a combo fan cooler housed in a big plastic case; I remember that it was big bucks but I never heard anyone comment on how well it performs.

However, a few degrees here and few degrees there; maybe just maybe we can get these ovens to run at a reasonably acceptable level!
Im anxiously waiting for my Fuel Motto 2/1/2 head pipes and hoping that they will compliment my other heat reduction attempts and ultimately sole the problem!

Ditto here too! I bit the bullet and decided best way for my budget. From Fuelmoto: Jackpot 2/1/2 headpipe, PC V with their map, Supertrapp SE mufflers, and SE a/c. Got a lot of work to do after my 1000 mile inspection.
