I have never heard of one flipping but anything can happen if a person totally over drives a curve.

Haven't heard of one flipping, but I have experienced what you are talking about when I took a curve on the Blue Ridge waaaaay too fast. Scary, but I think I was a ways from flipping.

im sure the suspension is pretty good these days, but 20 years ago, trikes were known to be dangerous and tipped all the time..just like the atcs that were outlawed..one front wheel makes it unstable to start and its top heavy..the bike was made to lean, the rear wheels are fighting it on every turn

Can't remember if it was this forum or TrikeTalk, a guy said he went into a turn too fast and the bike wouldn't turn, ran into a wall. Wife is a VERY aggressive trike rider and hasn't had any problems, mine has never felt like it was tipping. I rode Quads and 3 wheel ATC's for years, the Harley Trike doesn't feel that much different.

Front end normally starts to hop before the rear lifts. But if you are on a road that is bumpy in the curve and is crowned against the turn that would help lift the rear a bit.

I can tell you for sure they day I was going sideways down the Interstate she did in fact try to roll over. Took allot of steering to get it under control. But that was due to the accident, not going into a corner too hot.

I always thought the front wheel would slide before the rear would lift, I found out I was wrong, I hit a corner following a Goldwing who was scraping floorboards big time and lifted the rear wheel off the ground about 6 inches, sure did pucker my behind.

Yes I was but I think speed had a lot to do with it lifting, this was a u shaped corner with a 20 mph speed limit, we were two up, loaded with luggage, probably doing 60 going into the corner, the wheel lifted, no front wheel hop, I turned into to it just enough to bring the wheel down and back to turning the corner and then into another corner. Really no time to think about it. I know before I could ride with this guy on the Goldwing and just seem to be coasting around the corners when following him with my old trike. My old Lehman trike the back was just as high as the 11 trike with the lift kick so that really should make any difference.
