Let me preface this comment with my triglide is not my first HD....so I'm familiar with the clanking and clunking noises and heat issues that many have faced. With that said, as my glide clocked more miles, I noticed lots of changes...three of the more significant ones are:
1. less clanking and clunking!....could be my ears but this trike I have completely stock so I can hear even better.
2. less heat...yes less heat. Now again, you could say I'm more tolerant but it's doubtful, my wife says I'm more grumpy as I get older.
3. more pep..again, yes...it's sort of like getting off the "line" quicker...it's spunky.
My trike is only in it's 9th month (2012) but I do intend one day just for fun to put all the fun stuff I read about on it, like slipons, bigger air and tuners and such. ...but for now, I'm loving it more and more with each mile I put on it!
I've had my 12 TG since Aug last year. Wife and I luv it. Been from St Louis to San Antonio, Dallas, Reno, Vegas Phoenix, tuscon, Tombstone and to Ohio once. Only have 19,K But Luv to ride.
Power vision Tuner, Decatted header and slip on's and getting 36-38 MPG towing my cargo trailer.
also just turned 15,000 miles on my 2010. Took a trip from northern colorado to tucson, az. Spending the winter down here and will ride all winter long.
