VRSCDX security system is malfunction (?)
Hello everyone!
I bought the VRSCDX about a half year ago. It has 14k miles on odo. The seller gave me only 1 key and no security fob. He said that he bought it in 2019 and recieved only this key.
So.. the bike is starts and runs good. But after you start riding the red key indicator at dashboard is appears. And as I understand the security system is not working as it should.
For now I done few things:
1. Tried to review and change the security code. I used the official manual to do it. But the security code didn't appear. Only the right-front turn signal starts blinking faster and the red key appears on the dashboard after I using the combination.
2. Found the security module. It looks fine.
3. Tried to found the security chip that may be hidden somewhere in the bike. But I didn't find anything similar to it.
How the bike can starts and runs if the security fob is not presented?
What should I do to restore the security system? How can I link the new fob to the security module?

If the bike had a security system, the module would have a different part number.
