Hey guys, so this is my first post in this forum about my first bike, and what I consider an insanely good deal.
Just this past Friday I made a quick call to a sales guy I've talked to a bunch in the past 3+ months, and his occasional calls to me along with dealing with my once-every-few-weeks calls has paid off. ...in a massive way. Following my call with him on Friday, I had a quick convo with the wife that night and Saturday morning headed on up to the dealership to pick up my new toy.
...and here's what I got: A 2009 Harley V-Rod (VRSCAW) from Harley of Danbury (CT) for 12,995 with a whopping 9 miles on it.
Thanks guys. It was just delivered yesterday morning, and I was itching all day for 6PM to come around so I can get in my car and head home to see it in my garage.
I was originally looking for a Pewter one or 100th Aniversary, but this blue hit me and with the 240 out back it really made the bike.
Given this is my first bike, I'm going to take it slow on any modifications/add-on's, but the first few things I'm about to pick up are:
Already removed rear pegs and brackets for the time-being and replaced allen head bolts with shorter chrome ones. Chrome Coolant Hose Cover
Kuryakyn ISO Pegs and Grips
Smoked turn signal lenses
Welcome!
I have been running the flamed ISO grips for the last 3 years and no problems. Another option on your mirrors, have you looked at the F model mirror and stem?
