Default 2007 NRS "Rod King"

I can't let Trod45 have all the fun showcasing his Outlaw, so here's my contribution:

List of mods as follows:
09 Muscle wheels w/Pirelli Night Dragon tires (240 rear, 120 front)
Arnott Air ride system
Progressive 1" lower front fork springs
CFR Exhaust
PC III w/custom map
07 "D" model narrow (180 tire) rear fender w/signals relocated
07 "D" model passenger pillion
Arlen Ness Bob Dron Road King fairing with custom made brackets
Heritage Softail 7" round headlight bucket (painted denim)
Kuryakyn LED Halo headlight trim ring (painted denim)
H-D OEM Dual halogen 7" round headlamp (modded "R" model wiring harness to run dual H11 bulbs)
Headwinds lower triple tree headlight mount
Electra Glide windshield bag
Ghost Rider Customs Xtreme front fender
Ghost Rider Customs front signal relocation kit
Ghost Rider Customs radiator grille inserts
Custom Chrome drag bars
Custom Chrome 3.5" risers
H-D Diamond black grips, pegs, toe shifter
H-D blackline brake and clutch levers
H-D blackline slotted foot controls
H-D Sportster 48 under mount mirrors
EBP Air-box cover with gauge cluster relocated into air-box w/custom "1" dark custom logos, trip switch and HALO trim ring switch relocated into air-box
Custom seat pin (Not so much a choice since I snapped the factory seat pin off and had to improvise)
Swingarm pivot bolt covers
Mini Sissy bar base plate and sissy bar (not in pictures)
Custom side mount plate w/LED license plate light

I think that about covers it for now....

I like it. The fairing follows the lines of the bike.

Thanks man! Hey did you notice any "perceived" difference when switching over to the muscle wheels (less weight/wind)...? I need tires soon (ok, ASAP) and was considering the swap...

I think it is as nice a bike as you could ever think of. It just flat out looks awesome. Everything looks like it came from the factory very clean lines. Its just a bad a-- bike.

Definitely a little lighter feel than the stock slotted wheels. As long as yours is an 08 or newer you won't have the headache I did in playing mix'n'match with spacers and inner bearing sleeves, etc... If you need any part numbers I think I listed a pretty inclusive parts list in my write up on 1130cc.com. I think the muscle wheels were probably the best mod I did for the money.

Slim - Thanks man I appreciate that. I tried to achieve the look of OEM as much as possible with the mods I did. I like for people to know what it is but know something is different. I had a salesman at the local H-D shop stop me in the parking lot once because a guy in the parts department wanted to know about my bike. I'm very critical of my own work, so I still see room for improvement to truly make all the lines flow exactly like an OEM bike would, but I'll work on those fine tweaks once I'm back from my all expenses paid vacation to the Stan. My parents live in KY so you might it see it up there cruising the streets some day.

Ya know what, I actually do remember reading the thread! I remember there was so much info listed it made my head spin! I have major ADD sometimes (ok most of the time), especially with written instructions. My bike is an '09, so at least I have that cut out for me.

I really do need tires ASAP, so I'm thinking about just pulling the trigger on these as 1) they're really my last "big" mod besides maybe cams an a tuner, and 2) both front and rear are the price of a single front aftermarket wheel...

Guess it's time for me to start reading again!
