These give you the 1250 revo motor, 5 gallon tank, brembo brakes, 240 rear tire, and a few other things that I forget. 1130cc is the place to go for everything pertaining to the v-rod from mild to wild.
The 07 Night Rod Special comes with the 240 rear and 5 gallon fuel tank as well. Quite honestly the difference between the 1130 and 1250 motor is negligible unless you go the Stage II cams route and a few other upgrades. Pony for pony the HP and Torque differences aren't significant enough for the daily rider to truly notice.

I was debatin about the 26t front to give me that low end torque. How much do you lose on the top end- not like i need to go 130.....

Also if you switch to the 26t, do you need to change belt sizes?
You'll lose probably between 8-10 mph off the top end. The biggest thing to remember is that you'll also need to get a speedo-healer or speedo-calibrator to correct for the speedometer error. I think it's something like a 7% difference. Not a big deal until you start racking up the miles and realize that your odometer shows mileage considerably higher than your actual mileage. You don't need to change your belt. You will however have to set your adjusters almost all the way out to the edge of the swing arm. There are other options like cutting a couple pieces of slag to butt up against your swing arm so your belt tensioners aren't maxed out.

You can put floor boards on - there are some mid mount pegs available as well as floorboards

Here are a few nice examples
For some reason I can't view the photos. Box comes up saying I don't have that privilege. Do you have to be a paying member to view pics?

I assume due to the lack of low end torque no has tried towing a small touring trailer with their VRod.

Towing a trailer would be no problem with a 26tooth sprocket...

I do not know about the pic issue but if you want to see a wide variety of "V Baggers"
go to 1130cc.com and click on "Baggers" several bat wing and mostly roadglide fairing
pics - but it will give you an idea as to what's out there

EDIT: You know on second thought I think you do have to join 1130cc to see the pics...just not sure there is no charge to join them

There is also a guy named "Hanzo" that has been all over North and South America with his V Rod

You don't have to be a paying member to view photos on 1130cc. You just need to be a registered user. If you registered make sure you used the link they sent to your email to officially activate your account.

For some reason earlier I could view the pics in post #7. I can now. That first bike is sharp. Moving to Germany the end of the month. If I can find someone over there to give me decent money for my CVO Bagger I may join the VRod crowd.

Das ist gut! You may have good luck over there selling your American spec H-D. I've had a few friends who have shipped their bikes to Germany and sold them there for a pretty penny.
